We, the undersigned, call upon President Donald J. Trump to come to Chicago and help Make Illinois and Chicago Safe Again. Every week, our city suffers from violence, unnecessary deaths, and tragic murders that devastate families and communities. While our governor, J.B. Pritzker, continues to turn a blind eye to this crisis, we cannot stand by and allow the safety of Chicago’s citizens to be ignored. We urge President Trump to take action, bring leadership, and restore law and order so that every resident can live in peace and security, regardless of their political affiliation.
